Email verification
Every listing needs a clicked magic link before it's visible. Filters out typos and throwaway spam in one step, at zero effort for real posters.
5 listings a day, per email
A simple rate limit keeps any single sender from flooding the site.
Community reporting
Anyone can flag a listing. Three reports auto-hides it pending a manual look.
Unclaimed listings expire automatically
If a book hasn't found a taker within 21 days, its listing quietly disappears on its own — no reminders, no action needed on your part. Keeps the site free of stale, forgotten posts.
Check-ins catch dead listings early
Five days after someone expresses interest, we ask if they ever heard back. Two independent "no"s hide the listing before the 21-day mark.
